The work examines how understanding the subversive nature of white supremacy is key to making lasting social progress. In 2020, amid record-breaking uprisings and mass mobilization for racial justice, “So You Want to Talk About Race” became a central text steering conversations of racial liberation and transformative social change in America. Her latest work, “Mediocre” delves further into exploring the intersections of white male privilege, and how societal beliefs and expectations of superiority cultivate facades of grandeur and entitlement.
